Diddy Denies He Knew Of 1994 Plot To Kill Tupac

March 17, 2008
Diddy Denies He Knew Of 1994 Plot To Kill TupacGigwise has received an official statement from Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs denying that he knew of a plot to murder Tupac Shakur in 1994 - before the failed attempt had even happened.

Shakur was eventually fatally wounded in a drive-by shooting in 1996, although the perpetrator has never been found.

In an article published on the LA Times Online this morning, the website suggested that new evidence had surfaced to support Shakur’s claim that Combs had prior knowledge of an earlier attempt on his life.

The 1994 attack, in which Shakur was beaten, shot and left for dead at the Quad Recording Studios on New York’s 7th Avenue, was a watershed in rapper gang warfare.

“The story is beyond ridiculous and is completely false,” Combes said in response to the allegations. “I am shocked that the Los Angeles Times would be so irresponsible as to publish such a baseless and completely untrue story.”
