Lady Gaga will return to the UK for more live dates in May after adding an additional European leg to her Monster Ball world tour.

The new jaunt includes two rescheduled dates in Nottingham (May 27) and Sheffield (June 4), which were originally due to take place this week.

Both shows were postponed due to “logistical issues”, promoter Live Nation said.

Tickets for the previously scheduled performances will be honoured at the new dates.

The US singer's second UK tour also includes new dates in Birmingham (May 28), London (30) and Manchester (June 2).

Support will come from Semi Precious Weapons, who are touring with Lady Gaga on her current UK dates.

Tickets for the singer's new gigs go on sale on Friday (March 12).

• Nottingham, Arena – May 27 (rescheduled from March 8)
• Birmingham, LG Arena – 28
• London, O2 Arena – 30
• Manchester, MEN Arena – June 2
• Sheffield, Arena – 4 (rescheduled from March 7)
