Rihanna Outraged By 'S&M' Name Ban And Censorship On BBC Radio 1

February 7, 2011
Rihanna Outraged By 'S&M' Name Ban And Censorship On BBC Radio 1Rihanna is outraged that her latest single 'S&M' was censored on Radio 1's Chart show.

The singer, whose single 'S&M' includes sexually provocative lyrics, was censored on Radio 1's chart show yesterday (February 6).

Lyrics including 'sex', 'whip' and 'chains' were cut out when the single, a new entry at number 20, was played on the chart show.

Radio DJ Reggie Yates renamed the songs title, introducing it as 'Come On' instead of 'S&M'.

Rihanna recated to the news over Twitter: "Are you f*cking kidding me???"

The video for 'S&M' has also been banned in several countries, while other broadcasters have vowed to only show it at more adult-friendly times of the day.
