Radiohead Star Contributes To New Movie Score

August 1, 2008
Radiohead Star Contributes To New Movie ScoreRadiohead bassist Colin Greenwood has contributed to the score for the forthcoming movie Woodpecker.

Greenwood plays bass on the soundtrack to the Alex Karpovsky film, will also features Clap Your Hands, Say Yeah brothers Lee & Tyler Sargent.

The score was recorded at Greenwood's own studio in Oxfordshire and New York betwee the summer of 2007 and summer 2008.

Woodpecker is the second feature-length film from Karpovsky, who received critical acclaim for 2006's The Hole Story.

The new film tells the story of the strange and blossoming world of birdwatching in America, concentrating specifically on the search for the famous Ivory-Billed Woodpecker.

Greenwood follows in the footsteps of his brother and Radiohead band mate, Jonny, who received a nomination for his score to the film There Will Be Blood.
