Lady Gaga is set to appear at this year's Glastonbury festival ahead of her scheduled dates in support of Take That.

The singer will also play a series of solo shows including a headlining slot at London's Brixton Academy.

Although it is not known what stage she will appear on at Glastonbury, it has been confirmed that she will perform on the Friday night.

Lady Gaga's summer UK dates are:

• Glastonbury – June 26
• Manchester, Old Trafford – 27-28 (supporting Take That)
• Manchester, Academy – 29
• London, Wembley Stadium – July 4-5 (supporting Take That)
• Swindon, Oasis – 6
• London, Brixton Academy – 14
