Carl Barat Teases Fans About Libertines Reading And Leeds Warm-Up Gig

Carl Barat has promised to announce details about The Libertines warm-up gig ahead of their appearance at the Reading and Leeds festival later this month.

The group are set to play The Forum in London, although additional details, including the date, have yet to be released.

However, in a post on Twitter, Barat said he would divulge more information next Tuesday (August 10).

“There will be a very special announcement next Tuesday via my twitter etc about a show for a little London four piece,” he wrote.

As previously reported, The Libertines have reunited in their original line-up, including singer Pete Doherty.

The Reading and Leeds festivals, which take place over the August Bank Holiday weekend, will be headlined by Guns N' Roses, Arcade Fire and Blink-182.
