Robbie Williams Hits Out At Take That Reunion Doubters

October 26, 2010
Robbie Williams Hits Out At Take That Reunion DoubtersRobbie Williams has hit out at people who have questioned his reasons for rejoining Take That.

The singer, who quit the group in 1995, has reformed with his old bandmates for a new album and tour.

Appearing at a press conference in London this morning, Williams was asked if he would have rejoined the group if he was still having solo success.

"Greatest Hits album Number one in 14 countries, last album sold more than [Take That's last album] 'The Circus'," he replied, before telling the journalist who asked the question to “**** off”.

Williams, who was backed by Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald, was also asked if he had a message for any fans who were happy with Take That being a four-piece.

"See you at the Stadium of Light, Monday 30 May 2011,” he said.

Take That are set to embark on an extensive tour next year, which includes four nights at London's Wembley Stadium.

Barlow promised fans that they could expect a big production and that Williams would also perform solo material on the tour.

Take That release 'Progress', their first album in fifteen years with Williams, on November 22.
