Lily Allen is expecting her first child with boyfriend Sam Cooper, it has emerged.

The 25-year-old singer is three months into the pregnancy - and told the Sun she was “absolutely delighted”.

Allen and Cooper, 32, who owns a painting and decorating company, have been dating since July 2009.

The singer is currently on a break from music, but is set to headline the Big Chill festival in Herefordshire this weekend.

She suffered a miscarriage in 2008 while dating Chemical Brothers star Ed Simons.

Allen received therapy after the miscarriage, and admitted in a later interview that she was in a "pretty bad way".
