Lily Allen: 'I Got Too Drunk At Glamour Awards'

Lily Allen has admitted to getting “very drunk” at the Glamour Awards earlier this week.

The singer was pictured by paparazzi being carried out of the ceremony in London on Tuesday (June 3rd) after collecting an Editors special award.

Addressing the incident on her Myspace blog, Allen wrote: “This time I’m putting my hands up, I got very drunk last night, too drunk.

“It's not cool getting that drunk, I feel awful and I have to thank my little brother Alf for getting me home safely.”

Allen joked in her post how the last time she had written to fans it was to defend “honour and dignity” after being picture drinking.

She also sent a warning to her young fans, saying: “Kids, drink responsibly or you'll end up looking like this, not pretty.

“Was quite fun though, from what I can remember. Need fry up now.”

It was revealed today that Allen will appear on Kaiser Chiefs new album.
