Lady Gaga For Radio 1 Big Weekend 2011

Lady Gaga has been announced as headline act for his year's Radio 1 Big Weekend.

The singer will join Foo Fighters, Tinie Tempah and My Chemical Romance at the event.

The two-day free music event will take place at Carlisle Airport on 14-15 May

Performing on the Saturday will be Black Eyed Peas, Ellie Goulding, Jessie J, Plan B and Chase & Status.

Lady Gaga, My Chemical Romance, Olly Murs, Bruno Mars, The Wombats, Professor Green, Katy B, The Script and Taio Cruz will appear on the Sunday.

Rihanna, Florence & The Machine, Cheryl Cole and Justin Bieber appeared at last years event.
