50 Cent: 'I've Got Diddy Syndrome'

US rapper 50 Cent has claimed he is suffering from Diddy syndrome, which is apparently brought on by excessive success.

The rapper said he caught the syndrome shortly after the release of his 2003 debut album 'Get Rich or Die Tryin''.

"When [my career] blew up, I developed the Diddy syndrome," 50 Cent told the New York Daily News.

“As soon as you develop the Diddy syndrome, you put a little more grease in your hair, and soon enough, you're selling cologne."

The rapper's comments follow reports he's currently developing a dietary supplement to add to his growing business portfolio.

50 Cent he hoped to come out with a product "very soon”.

As previously reported, 50 Cent is currently preparing to release his new studio album, 'Before I Self Destruct'.
