Lily Allen is expecting a baby boy with boyfriend Sam Cooper, it's been reported.

The singer,who announced she was pregnant last month, apparently told friends after a recent scan revealed the baby's sex.

"Lily said she found out from a scan she is having a boy,” a source told The Sun. “She is really excited and can't wait to give birth.”

The 25-year-old singer as made a number of public appearances this week, including at the GQ Men Of The Year awards on Tuesday (September 7).

Allen and Cooper, 32, who owns a painting and decorating company, have been dating since July 2009.

In August, the couple said they were “absolutely delighted” to be expecting their first child together.
