Eminem has requested that organisers provide gym equipment when he performs at this weekend's Oxegen festival, it's been reported.

The rapper is said to be keen to keep up with his training regime when he headlines the Irish festival, the Sun reports.

Speaking last year, Eminem revealed that he had turned to fitness after overcoming his problems with prescription drugs.

"I was running, I was – there was one point where I was running, like, it was a little too much," he said.

"It was a little extreme. It was a total of 17 miles."

The rapper is set to top the bill at Oxegen, which runs from July 9-11, alongside Kasabian and Muse.
