Paul McCartney 'To Move Solo Catalogue From EMI To Indie Label'

April 21, 2010
Paul McCartney 'To Move Solo Catalogue From EMI To Indie Label'Sir Paul McCartney is to transfer his solo back catalogue from EMI to the independent label Concord Music Group, it’s been reported.

The deal, which comes amid financial uncertainty at EMI, consists of about two-dozen albums, including Sir Paul’s output with Wings.

According to Reuters, the label will begin re-issuing the former Beatles star’s solo catalogue in August, starting with Wings’ ‘Band On The Run’.

Concord also released Sir Paul’s recent solo album ‘Memory Almost Full’ and his 2009 live CD/DVD ‘Good Evening New York City’.
