Diddy, Paris Hilton, Samantha Ronson Pay Tribute To DJ AM

August 31, 2009
Diddy, Paris Hilton, Samantha Ronson Pay Tribute To DJ AMDiddy and Paris Hilton are amongst the celebrities who have paid tribute to DJ AM who died on August 28.

The 36-year-old – real name Adam Goldstein - died in his Manhattan apartment at around 5pm on August 28, with the cause of his death yet to be revealed.

However, many source are claiming that he died of a drugs overdose. AM was a former crack-cocaine addict.

Writing on her Twitter page, Paris Hilton said: "Adam and I were friends since I was 15. RIP AM, I love you and you are already missed so much. My heart and prayers go out to his family and close friends. God bless."

Samantha Ronson, who was close friends with DJ AM, said in disbelief: "Waiting for someone to say this isn't true."

Meanwhile Diddy simply wrote: "DJ AM Rest In Peace."

DJ AM is the former partner of Nicole Richie and actress Mandy Moore. He is perhaps best known for his collaboration with Blink 182's Travis Barker in recent years.
