Blink-182 are in talks to headline next year’s T In The Park festival in Scotland, it has been reported.

The band, who will play UK arena shows next summer, are said to be in the “early stages” of discussions with organisers and would be “honoured” to top the bill.

"We're going to be in the UK but have no Scottish date as yet,” a source close to the band told the Daily Record. "Nor do we have a date lined up in Ireland.

“It's either play a great festival like T in the Park or add more arena dates but those would conflict with the festival so that makes little sense."

Foo Fighters are so far the only confirmed headliner for the event, which runs from July 10-12 2011. Early-bid tickets have sold out.
