Aerosmith's Joe Perry 'Heartbroken' At Thought Of Cancelling Tour

August 10, 2009
Aerosmith's Joe Perry 'Heartbroken' At Thought Of Cancelling TourJoe Perry has announced that he has been left “heartbroken” at the prospect of having to cancel the remaining dates of Aerosmith's America tour in the wake of Steve Tyler's stage fall injuries.

The band, that cancelled a date in Winnipeg on August 7th, have learnt that the 61 year-old's injuries will take longer to heal than initially thought which may lead to the remaining 18 dates of their tour also being postponed.

"We still don't know if we're going to keep the tour up or what. It's breaking my heart”, Perry said.

As reported last week, Tyler broke his shoulder and also injured his head and back, when we fell from stage having mistimed a dance step in South Dakota last Wednesday.
