Franz Ferdinand Confirm 2009 Glastonbury Festival AppearanceFranz Ferdinand will perform on the Saturday at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.

The band listed the gig on their official website, although they didn’t specify what stage they would perform on.

Franz Ferdinand are one of the first acts to confirm their participation at the Somerset festival, which will take place from June 26th-28th.

As previously reported, Bruce Springsteen, Blur and Neil Young are rumored to be among this year’s headliners.
