Sigur Rós (English pronunciation: /ˈsɪɡər ˈrɒs/, Icelandic: [ˈsɪːɣʏr ˈrouːs]) is an Icelandic post-rock band with melodic, classical, and minimalist elements. The band is known for its ethereal sound and lead singer Jónsi Birgisson's falsetto. In January 2010, the band announced that they will be on hiatus until further notice in order to pursue solo careers and to spend time with their families.

Simply titled 'Go', the album is released through Parlophone Records on March 22 and is being billed as markedly different to the 2009 instrumental record with his boyfriend Alex Somers 'The Riceboy Sleeps'.
