Lady Gaga To Perform On American Idol Next Month

Grace Jones' (least) favourite singer, Lady Gaga, will perform live on American Idol next month.

The singer – real name Stefani Germanotta – confirmed the news via Twitter, writing: “See you on American Idol. MAY 5th, Little Monsters.”

Gaga's appearance three weeks before the final of the ninth series of American Idol follows her April 2009 performance of future number one 'Poker Face' on the show.

Earlier today, Gaga announced two further dates for her gargantuan Monster Ball Tour at The O2 in Dublin on October 26 and Belfast's The Odyssey on November 1.

Tickets go on sale on Friday (April 23) at 9am.
