Katy Perry: 'I Want To Work With Marina And The Diamonds'

Katy Perry has revealed that she would like to record a song with Marina and the Diamonds.

The US singer said she had been a fan of the singer – aka Marina Diamandis – since watching a video of her performing online.

“I would love to collaborate with Marina," Perry told the Daily Star.

"I'm such a fan of new artists after going through that crazy hurricane of being one myself and, thankfully, surviving.

“New artists that will make it out of the eye of the storm I love and Marina is definitely one of them - she's very talented, very smart and hot."

Perry is currently top of the UK singles chart with 'California Gurls'. The track is taken from her new album 'Teenage Dream'.

The follow-up to 2008's 'One For The Boys' is due to be released in August.
