Crowded House Announce Summer 2010 UK Tour

Crowded House have lined up a nine date UK tour for this summer.

Neil Finn and co. will be airing their as-yet-untitled sixth studio album at the shows alongside all the classics.

Finn said of the album: “This 11 track album is exotic in parts, traditional in origin, through many a twist and turn we fashioned some drama and intrigue.

“You will find some threads that go back through all that history and some new discoveries as well that will need to be followed up. It's part of the continuum and it may just be the best thing we’ve done ……till the next one.”

He continued about the UK tour: “The intention is the same as ever, to get the people involved, to hit some heights and leave the songs hanging in the air.”

Tickets go on sale from 9am this Friday (January 29).

• Birmingham Symphony Hall – 24
• Manchester Apollo – 26
• Bristol Colston Hall – June 2
• Plymouth Pavilions – 3
• Cardiff International Arena – 4
• Oxford New Theatre – 6
• London Hammersmith Apollo – 8/9
