Kanye West has performed at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York.

The rapper played new song 'Lost In The World' on top his own float at the annual holiday event earlier today (November 25).

Dressed in a long black coat and matching head tie, West delivered an enthusiastic rendition of the song, taken from his new album 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy'.

West was the highest profile performer at the parade. Other guests included Jessica Simpson, Kylie Minogue and Keri Hilson.

Meanwhile, West's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy' is on course to top the US Billboard album chart next week.

The rapper's fifth effort is one of a number of albums performing strongly in the midweek chart.
