Tori Amos Cries On Stage At London Jazz Cafe

December 3, 2009
Tori Amos Cries On Stage At London Jazz CafeTori Amos shed a tear on stage at an ultra-intimate London show last night (December 2nd).

The 46-year-old singer was playing a one-off free gig at the Jazz Café in Camden when the emotion clearly got too much.

In high spirits throughout, Tori even recounted a story about someone in the crowd whose mother she used to take drugs with.

She joked: “There's someone here whose mum I used to take ecstasy with, and I thought oh my god! Well I took something with her, somewhere it was legal - I'm in enough trouble with the British government already."

A stunning show from start to finish, Tori was resplendant with just her piano and also took time to thanks her fans for queuing in the pouring rain.

The set-list was dominated by tracks from her festive album 'Midwinter Graces' interspersed with old favourites.

Tori played:

  1. Lady In Blue
  2. Concertina
  3. A Silent Night With You
  4. Dragon
  5. Doughnut Song
  6. Ophelia
  7. Josephine
  8. Rattlesnakes
  9. Jeanette, Isabella
  10. Mrs Jesus
  11. Beauty Of Speed
  12. Father Luicfer
  13. Star Of Wonder
  14. London Girls
  15. Pink & Glitter
