Justin Timberlake Granted Restraining Order Against Stalker

November 10, 2009
Justin Timberlake Granted Restraining Order Against StalkerJustin Timberlake has been granted a permanent restraining order against a woman whom he accused of stalking him.

The singer said Karen McNeil, 28, was “obsessed and mentally unstable” and had repeatedly trespassed onto his Los Angeles home.

She also reportedly broke into Timberlake's home last month.

In a written court declaration, the singer described McNeil's conduct as “extremely distressing” and said he was concerned for his personal safety.

McNeil, who represented herself in court, had claimed she and was destined to marry Timberlake and “to rule” with him.

A judge yesterday ordered her two stay away from Timberlake and his home for a period of three years.

Outside court, McNeil claimed the hearing had been “all lies”, according to the Associated Press.
