The Pigeon Detectives
The Pigeon Detectives are an English band from Rothwell, West Yorkshire, who formed in 2002. They have been championed by such well known DJs as Steve Lamacq and Jo Whiley, and performed at the Reading and Leeds Festivals in 2006, where they were tagged "the band most likely to leap to the main stage in 2007" in an NME review. However, the band returned to the festivals in 2007 and again performed on the NME stage.

The Pigeon Detectives have announced details of a new album and tour, set to take place in Spring. The band’s third album ‘Up, Guards And At 'Em!', released April 4, will be their first since 2008’s ‘Emergency’. Read more

Doves, Editors, The Pigeon Detectives and Paul Weller are amongst the first raft of bands to be announced for this year's Hop Far festival. The festival takes place over the weekend of July 4-5 and will also feature appearances from Super Furry Animals, Echo & The Bunnymen, Mystery Jets and Florence and the Machine. Read more

Leeds rockers The Pigeon Detectives have announced dates for a Winter tour. The tour kicks off on November 24th at the Grimsby Auditorium and concludes with two homecoming shows at the Leeds Carling Academy on December 17th and 18th. Read more
