My Morning Jacket is an American rock band. The band consists of Jim James (singer-songwriter, guitarist), Tom "Two-Tone Tommy" Blankenship (bassist), Patrick Hallahan (drummer), Carl Broemel (guitarist, pedal steel guitarist, saxophonist, vocalist), and Bo Koster (keyboardist, percussionist, vocalist).

My Morning Jacket has been forced to cancel their upcoming European shows due to singer Jim James’ stage accident at a recent concert in Iowa. The tour was scheduled to start on October 29 in Dublin and wrap up in Glasgow on November 14 but have no immediate plans to reschedule. Read more

Singer/guitarist Jim James of My Morning Jacket has been released from the hospital after falling at a recent concert at the University of Iowa. According to Cedar Rapids newspaper 'The Gazette', James slipped and fell approximately 30 minutes into the band’s show on Tuesday, October 7 between songs, causing him to hit his head. Read more
