My Bloody Valentine
My Bloody Valentine are an alternative rock band formed in Dublin, Ireland in 1983. The band's founding members are guitarist/singer Kevin Shields and drummer Colm Ó Cíosóig. The lineup during the band's late 80s/early 90s heyday included singer-guitarist Bilinda Butcher and bassist Debbie Googe after the band settled in London.

Notoriously noisy live band My Bloody Valentine are to offer gig goers free ear plugs ahead of their shows. The ear splitting band have teamed up with Earplugshop.com to provide the disposable 'Moldex Yellow' range of plugs, which fans can pick up on their way into the band's shows. Read more

Kevin Shields has revealed that fans can expect an expanded version of My Bloody Valentine to appear for their live shows in the second half of 2009. My Bloody Valentine have been announced as curators for this year's ATP Nightmare Before Christmas along with the initial line up. The event takes place once again at Butlin's Minehead over the weekend of December 4-6 and early bird tickets are on sale now. Read more
