Feeder are an alternative rock band, formed in 1992 in Newport, Wales. The band currently comprises frontman, lead guitarist and head songwriter Grant Nicholas, Bass guitarist Taka Hirose and drummer Karl Brazil. Original drummer Jon Lee committed suicide during January 2002, Skunk Anansie's drummer Mark Richardson stepped in and later left in 2009 when Skunk Anansie reformed. Feeder have also been accompanied by Matt Sime (keyboards; 2000–2002), Dean Tidey (guitar, backing vocals; 1998–present) and Dean Deavall (keyboards, backing vocals; 2008-present). Feeder first saw mainstream success from their third album "Echo Park" (2001), with its first single "Buck Rogers" becoming their first top 10 hit. Two Kerrang! Award wins in 2001 and 2003 for "Best British Live Act" and "Best British Band" later followed.

Feeder have revealed that they will release a charity single for the victims of the recent Japan tsunami. All profits from the single 'Side By Side' will go to the British Red Cross Japan Tsunami appeal. Read more

Feeder have announced details of a UK and Ireland tour, which is set to take place next year. The band will play 11 dates, starting at the Dublin Academy on February 5. Read more

Feeder, Tinie Tempah and Gabriella Cilmi have been added to the line-up for this summer's V Festival. The event takes place at sites in Chelmsford and Staffordshire from August 21-22. Read more

Feeder 'side-project' Renegades have announced details of an April 2010 UK tour and accompanying free EP. Having played a series of intimate shows earlier this year Grant Nicholas, Taka Hirose and Karl Brazil have stepped up their game and will be taking their rockier Renegades sound to venues across the land.
