Eels (often typeset as eels or EELS) is an American rock band formed by singer/songwriter Mark Oliver Everett, better known as E. Other members rotate frequently, both in the studio and on stage.

Eels and Bombay Bicycle Club have been added to the line-up for this year's Latitude festival in Suffolk, it's been announced. The National, Paolo Nutini and Suede will headline the festival which will also include Foals, Bright Eyes and comedian Dave Gorman. Read more

Eels frontman E has revealed that their new video takes revenge for being questioned by police on suspicion of being a terrorist in London last summer. The singer was mistaken for a suspected terrorist in Hyde Park, but let go when police realised he hasn't the individual. Read more

Eels are set to release the final instalment of their current album trilogy this summer. ‘Tomorrow Morning’, which follows 2009’s ‘Hombre Lobo and January’s ‘End Times’, will be available from August 23. Read more
