Editors are a British indie rock band based in Birmingham, who formed in 2002. Previously known as Pilot, The Pride and Snowfield, the band consists of Tom Smith (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, piano), Chris Urbanowicz (lead guitar, synthesizer), Russell Leetch (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Ed Lay (drums, percussion).

Editors stars Tom Smith and Russell Leetch both completed the London Marathon at the weekend. The pair ran the 26.2 mile course in a time of 4 hours and 15 minutes, with Smith coming in a second faster than his band mate. Read more

The Editors are set to release of box set of unreleased B-Sides, later this year. The 'Unedited' box-set entitled 'You Are Fading’ B-Sides Collection will include will include seven 12” heavy weight vinyls, seven CD’s, a download of everything in high quality 320kbps mp3 format and a book of photos and words. Editors frontman Tom Smith has said the band are ready to start rehearsals for their fourth album. The singer said the group planned to record again with producer Flood, who worked on their 2009 LP ‘In This Light And On This Evening’. Read more

Editors have revealed that they are ready to start work on their new album. The band's drummer Edward Lay said the group already had “a couple of demos” to concentrate on when they finish touring next month. Read more

Editors and Frightened Rabbit have been added to the bill for this year’s T in the Park festival. Other new additions include Delta Maid, who will open the Radio 1 stage on the final day of the festival. Read more
