Cypress Hill is an American Latino hip hop group from South Gate, California. Originally called DVX, the name was changed after Mellow Man Ace left to go solo in 1988. Cypress Hill was the first Latino group to have platinum and multi-platinum albums, selling over 18 million albums worldwide. They are one of the most well known groups in West Coast rap and are critically acclaimed for their first two groundbreaking albums.

Cypress Hill rapper B-Real says he doesn’t consider Guns N’ Roses to exist in their current line-up. Frontman Axl Rose is the only original member still performing with the group following the exodus of several members including guitarist Slash. Read more

Cypress Hill are reportedly supporting Rage Against The Machine at their Finsbury Park victory gig - Rage Factor - this summer. Festival website efestivals is listing the rap collective as 'confirmed' on the line-up page for the June 6th free event. Read more
