Chromeo is an electrofunk duo based in Montreal, Canada composed of P-Thugg (Patrick Gemayel) on keyboards, synthesizers, and talk box, and Dave 1 (David Macklovitch) on guitar and lead vocals. The two childhood friends jokingly describe themselves as "the only successful Arab/Jewish partnership since the dawn of human culture." Their second album "Fancy Footwork" is their mainstream breakthrough.

Chromeo have been forced to axe their gig at The Plug in Sheffield tonight (November 11). In a statement, the Montreal duo said the show had been cancelled because singer dave-1 has lost his voice. Read more

Chromeo have collaborated with La Roux's Elly Jackson for their forthcoming single, 'Hot Mess'. The song is taken from the electro duo's recent album 'Business Usual', but the original version did not include Jackson's vocals. Read more
