God is in the child's eye, see them wide, wondrous wise
God is in the rain and snow, and each snowflake this we know
God is in the trees and air, the rocks the birds the bees the bears
God is in the clouds above, God is in each act of love
God is in the oceans deep, some say God goes there to sleep
God is in the mountains high whistling a lullabye
God is in the darkest wood, God is in your neighborhood
God is in a place that's near...sometimes it's just not so clear

God is in the Christian house-bread and wine and holy cross
God is in the Jewish home-shalom chave rim shalom
God is in the Muslim- Allah hu akbar salaam
God is in the Hindu way... Jai Baquan Namaste
God is in those dancing Pagans-each drop of perspiration
God is in the Vatican, Quaker Meeting, Rastaman
God is in the flowing Tao then and now and now and now
God is in the Atheist....and all the things that don't exist
God is in...God is in....God is in....

I don't know where you go
In between the lightning and the darkness
I just know I'm not alone
Born in this
Beautiful Universe....

God is in the Ozone layer --holier and holier
If not inside the atom bomb- at least the atom bomber's Mom
God is Darfur, Bhagdhad, Jerusalem, Serbia, Morovia, Liberia
Sagovia, Yugoslavia, Montana, Oklahoma
God is so inspired by those who fly and those who try
God is insatiable- sing and dance way past full
God is in you and me, someday God will help us see
God's love with love so live
Live and love and that's enough

God is in sweet drops
in the white flakes
of the rain and snow and
God is in the trees, the rocks
the birds the bears....the bees ....I know and
God is in the silent nights of dreams and in the sweet by and by
God is in the child's eye in the sweet spot in the rain and snow and god is in the trees the rocks the birds the bees the bears and....God Is In!

My religion~
I am a Hindu-Buddhist-Jew-Islamic-Christian
Combining one soul, one vision~
Living peacefully where music is the only divinity
And sharing your art, the sacred creed~
My confession of faith is to struggle, go out of my way~
And find love to the end of my days

I'll reach a higher understanding coming out of confusion from
Chaos to cosmos the center it unfolds
Revealing the sacred
for all those to behold~
The creation of a world of my own all alone
Navigated by the four seasons~
And artistic expression~
Transcending the mundane to a Spiritual plane where the revelation to make music first came
The microphone my symbol of faith~it seems strange~
My words amplified across desert terrain to where You and yours reside to take blame
For thoughts mesmerising your mind with no shame~
It's unorthodox the paradox of
Finding religion in music through hip hop~dancing I pop-lock~
Letting my light shine~
Manifesting the glory within at the same time~
For the love of music
I am consciously devoted
Practice over theory the philosophy in motion just a token
From sacred scriptures~to be written from the prophet
Sharing my thoughts on all topics from the supernatural~ to exotic
Over sequenced patterns of music prolific
words are prolific

My religion~
I am a Hindu-Buddhist-Jew-Islamic-Christian
Combining one soul, one vision~
Living peacefully where music is the only divinity
And sharing your art, the sacred creed~
My confession of faith is to struggle, go out of my way~
And find love to the end of my days
And find love
Love to the end of my days
And find love to the end of my days

If love could say God's Name
We'd hear a trillion sounds
Choirs from the balconies
Grass grow through the ground

The sound would ring so true
As every fist uncurled
One human family
All across the world

The prayers of an atheist
Sent from the emptiness
Even they find the way back home....

If love could say God's name
And we would just be still
Silence would start to sing
And nature reveal God's will

If love could say God's name
How could we not behold
One light, one peace, one grace
Shining in every Soul

. . .

Well my heart don't care if my feet say no
When the jet stream's rockin' and the four winds blow
All the way from Paris to the hills of Tennessee
Baby, life's not fair it's only what it's meant to be
Say that, play that, pray that Mystery

Well my mouth says never but my soul says now
I got a portable devil and a sacred cow
Hare Krishna dances...Buddha smiles eternally
Holy Mother Mary...gently waving back to me
Angels, church bells sing that mystery

There's a quiet void of silence
In the stillness of the emptiness I've found
Louder than the jingle jangle clanging bang
Of chatter going down....comin' ‘round...

Well my life is a rumor but my death rings clear
Like a bell in the ether of the atmosphere
As I watch my future turn the corner by degrees
I could miss forever like the forest for the trees
Chase that place- that grace- that mystery

. . .

For the Beauty of the earth
For the glory of the skies
For the love which from our birth
Over and around us lies
Lord of all to thee we raise
This our hymn of grateful praise

For the wonder of each hour
Of the day and of the night
Hill and vale and tree and flower
Sun and moon and Stars of light
Lord of all to thee we raise
This our hymn of grateful praise

. . .

Here under heaven's eyes
Down under paradise
Sometimes it seems like we're so small.
Here on the shores that reach into infinity.
How could we matter that much at all?
Would it be enough
If each of us would give our love?

Like sand on a mountain
Rain on a fountain
Shade on a shadow
A breeze in this tornado
Just do what you can.
Clap with one hand
And shine all your light in the sun

We live to learn to love.
Oh, mercy from above,
Amazing grace, like rain, comes falling down
We sing our hearts to you
Our song of gratitude

The voice of every soul, how sweet the sound.
We can only trust
All our prayers will add up

Like sand on a mountain
Rain on a fountain
Shade on a shadow
A breeze in this tornado
Just do what you can.
Clap with one hand
And shine all your light in the sun
Would it be enough
If each of us would give our love?

Like sand on a mountain
Rain on a fountain
Shade on a shadow
A breeze in this tornado
Just do what you can.
Clap with one hand
And shine all your light in the sun

. . .

Be still my soul the Lord is by thy side
Stand tall within the of storm of grief and pain
Trust in thy God to order and provide
Through every change his faithful light remains
Be still my soul, the restful peace within
Through trying times leads to a joyful end

Be still my soul the wind and waves shall know
The voice who ruled them while he dwelt below
Torment and doubt have slipped into the past
All dark and mysteries shall shine at last
His burning sun shall melt the ice of fear
Lift up your heart, his soothing voice to hear

Be still my soul, when light you cannot see
That trembling skies speak to the fear in thee
The face of God illuminates the night
Unending peace and trusting perfect light
Be still my soul, when tears fall from above
You are divine, eternally in love
You are divine....eternally in love

. . .

Martin Luther who did you think that you were?
Appointed by some higher up
Merely mortal, your plans were unaffordable
No one wants to pay for love

Oh you beautiful fool
Swimmin' up stream, kickin' up waves
Dreams weren't meant to come true
That's why they call 'em dreams
Oh you beautiful fool

Walter Cronkite pre-empted Disney one night
And all us kids were so upset
We thought that you were a trouble instigator
Marchin' through our T.V. set

To fight a fight without a fist all human instinct puzzles this
How dare you threaten our existence
Mahatma Gandhi, Jesus Christ, history repeats itself so nice
Consistently we are resistant to love

I saw you on the black and white
With Blacks and White's applauding you
I saw you on another time
Without a sign of life in you

Oh you beautiful fool
Swimmin' up stream, kickin' up waves
Dreams weren't meant to come true
That's why they call 'em dreams
Oh you beautiful fool

. . .

Years cannot age you
Fear cannot scare you
Pain cannot hurt you
Death cannot kill you
Choose Love, Choose Love

War cannot harm you
Hunger can't starve you
Sin cannot shame you
Guilt cannot blame you
Choose Love, Choose Love

When you're doubting your direction
And you feel like giving up
Choose Love.

Money has spent you
Beauty would tempt you
Fame will fool you
Power will rule you
Choose Love, Choose Love

. . .

Thank you my Lord for a beautiful day
Thank you my Lord, I'm so happy to say
Thank you my Lord, for the flowers that grow
There'd be nothing I know, without you

Thank you my Lord, for the sun in the sky
Thank you my Lord, I'm so grateful that I
Thank you my Lord for the rivers that flow
There'd be nothing I know without you

For the music and the songs that I sing
For the laughter and the joy that you bring
For the mountains that you gave me to climb
Holding my hand all the time

Thank you my Lord for the birds and the trees
Thank you my Lord, I am down on my knees
Thank you my Lord, for the raindrops that fall
I'd be nothing at all without you.

Come outside, the sun is shining
And the sky is endless blue
The leaves will sigh, the winds reminding
That this life was lent to you

Say goodbye to all the bad days
Silver lined those clouds roll through
May you find what makes you happy
In this life that's lent to you

In everyone's heart there will be sadness
For some of the choices that we make
But the river of time flows behind us
And softens the edge of our mistakes

So come outside and walk this garden
Drink the light like roses do
Gentle heart, don't ever harden
In this life that's lent to you

. . .

O come ye now unto the flame
Keep it through the night
Nourish it and share its warmth
And spend its precious light
The torch is passed among us all
To help us understand
A covenant of brotherhood
That joins our open hand

We are standing at the edge
Faced with just one choice
Teach each other to be kind
And let our hearts rejoice
As different as we seem to be
We are still the same
Divided by our separate walls
But joined before the flame

O come ye now unto the flame
Keep it through the night
Shelter and embrace it's warmth
And spend it's precious light
The darkness makes us all afraid
But we are not along
The beacon of our common love
Will guide our journey home

Om Ta re Tutta re Tu re Sva Ha
(The Mantra of Tara)

. . .

VENI, Creator Spiritus,
mentes tuorum visita,
imple superna gratia
quae tu creasti pectora

Qui diceris Paraclitus,
altissimi donum Dei,
fons vivus, ignis, caritas,
et spiritalis unctio

Accende lumen sensibus:
infunde amorem cordibus:
infirma nostri corporis
virtute firmans perpeti

Per te sciamus da Patrem,
noscamus atque Filium;
Teque utriusque Spiritum
credamus omni tempore

Deo Patri sit gloria,
et Filio, qui a mortuis
surrexit, ac Paraclito,
in saeculorum saecula.
Amen

COME, Holy Spirit, Creator blest,
and in our souls take up Thy rest;
come with Thy grace and heavenly aid
to fill the hearts which Thou hast made

O comforter, to Thee we cry,
O heavenly gift of God Most High,
O fount of life and fire of love,
and sweet anointing from above

Kindle our sense from above,
and make our hearts o'erflow with love;
with patience firm and virtue high
the weakness of our flesh supply

Oh, may Thy grace on us bestow
the Father and the Son to know;
and Thee, through endless times confessed,
of both the eternal Spirit blest

Now to the Father and the Son,
Who rose from death, be glory given,
with Thou, O Holy Comforter,
henceforth by all in earth and heaven.
Amen

Let us be thankful to Jesus
Because He died for us
He was Merciful in His Death for us
We Salute you our Father (Bawo)
Black and white must be grateful to Him
Let them raise their voices to the King
Salute to you Our Father

I am a poor pilgrim of sorrow, I'm lost in this wide world alone
No hope have I for tomorrow, I'm trying make heaven my home.

Sometimes I am toss-ed an' driven,
Sometimes I don't know where to roam
But I heard of a city called Heaven,
An' I'm tryin' to make heaven my home.

My mother has reached that pure glory, my father's still walking in sin
My brothers and sisters won't own me, ‘cause I am tryin' to make it on in

Sometimes I am toss-ed an' driven
Sometimes I don't know where to roam
But I heard of a city called Heaven
An' I'm tryin' to make heaven my home

O Mother Divine! Father, mother, husband, wife, children and friends
none of these are eternally mine.
Knowledge, intellect, mind and will power are not eternal,
Oh Mother of the Universe—You are my and eternal refuge.

I do not know how to act righteously or find your abode
I do not know how to schieve freedom by dissolving my ego
I am devoid of devotion and surrender
I am not strong enough to make any vow
O Mother of the Universe—You are my eternal refuge

O compassionate Mother, protect me wherever I am
And whomever I am with
In pleasure and distress
O Mother of the Universe—You are my eternal refuge

O Mother, I feel like an orphan on this Earth
Powerless and without Inner wealth
Deluded by ignorance and unable to see the light of truth
O Mother of the Universe—you are my eternal refuge

In yonder valley there flows sweet union
Let us arise and drink our fill
The winter's passed and the spring appears
The turtle dove is in our land
In yonder valley there flows sweet union
Let us arise and drink our fill

Pwy welaf fel f'anwylyd
Yn hyfryd ac yn hardd
Fel ffrwythlon bren afalau'n
Rhagori ar brennau'r ardd?
Ces eistedd dan ei gysgod
Ar lawer vawod flin;
A'i ffrwyth oedd fil o weithiau
I'm genau'n well na'r gwin.

Gweld wyneb fy anwylyd

Neu fydd gaf ei fwynhau
Pan elont hwy yn eishiau
Pam byddaf fin yn drist
Tra caffwyf weled wyneb
Siriolaf iesu grist?

Who can I compare to my beloved,
Beautiful and fair
Like a fruitful apple blossom
Finer than all the other trees there?
I was allowed to shelter beneath him
During many a thunderstorm,
And a thousand times more pleasing than wine
On my lips were the fruits of his form

Seeing my beloved's face
Makes my soul sing out in praise,
For all that I have had already,
And will have ‘till the end of my days;
When I lose these many blessings,
Why should I feel any sadness,
For while I can see Jesus Christ's fair face
My heart will be full of gladness
