Alice Cooper (born Vincent Damon Furnier; February 4, 1948) is an American rock singer, songwriter and musician whose career spans more than four decades. With a stage show that features guillotines, electric chairs, fake blood, boa constrictors and baby dolls, Cooper has drawn equally from horror movies, vaudeville, and garage rock to pioneer a grandly theatrical and violent brand of heavy metal that was designed to shock.

Alice Cooper, Neil Diamond and Tom Waits were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in New York last night (March 14). The ceremony, hosted by Paul Simon, took place at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York and included guests Bruce Springsteen, John Legend, Michael Douglas and Michael J. Fox. Read more

Neil Diamond is set join the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame next year, it has been revealed. The singer will join Alice Cooper and Thom Waits in receiving the prestigious awards.
