Kate Nash Opens GlastoFebruary 21, 2008
 Kate Nash will open the Glastonbury Festival this year, it has been announced.
The pop newcomer, who claimed a Brit for Best British Female last night, will be the first act on-stage at the summer event. She will take to the Pyramid stage on Friday, June 27, preceding headliners Kings Of Leon, The Verve and Jay-Z. Meanwhile, Nash embarks on a UK tour of her own later this month, with a show in Belfast. The tour concludes at Hammersmith Apollo on March 10.
