The Steve Miller Band are set to play their first European shows in over 25 years this October.

The jaunt will begin with two UK dates, at London’s Royal Albert Hall on October 7 and the Apollo in Manchester on October 8.

The eight-date tour, which also calls in Milan, Paris and Amsterdam, will support the band’s new album ‘BINGO!’.

Released on June 21, the record was co-produced by Miller and engineer Andy Johns, and is the first of two albums from session at George Lucas’ Skywalker Ranch.

Tickets for the tour go on sale on Friday (April 30) at 9am.
