Robbie Williams' Electric Proms Gig To Be Broadcast In Cinemas

October 5, 2009
Robbie Williams' Electric Proms Gig To Be Broadcast In CinemasRobbie Williams gig at the BBC Electric Proms on October 20 will be broadcast simultaneously in cinemas around the world.

200 cinemas across Europe will present the gig live in High Definition, while delayed screenings will be shown in Australia and South Africa.

The concert, billed as the former Take That star's comeback, will feature a string and horn section, as well as Williams' full backing band.

In an interview on BBC Radio 2, the singer admitted “tremendous stage fright” had often inhibited his performances on stage.

But he added he was working on a way to combat the problem.

Williams new single 'Bodies' is released on October 12, while studio album 'Video Killed The Reality Star' is out on November 9.
