Shakira To Play The Pyramid Stage At Glastonbury 2010

Columbian popstress Shakira has been added to this summer's Glastonbury line-up.

The 33-year-old singer will perform on The Pyramid Stage on the Saturday afternoon (June 26th).

Shakira said of Glastonbury: "I'm really looking forward to playing Glastonbury this year and being a part of their 40th anniversary. Glastonbury is famous for being one of the best festival crowds, so I'm sure I'll have a great time."

Emily Eavis added: "Shakira is not only an amazing pop star but also socially and politically forward thinking; she's working incredibly hard for good causes around the world. We feel honoured to have the she wolf herself come to Worthy Farm!"

Headlined by U2, Muse and Stevie Wonder, Glastonbury Festival takes place at Worthy Farm, Somerset on from June 23rd to the 27th, 2010. All tickets are completely sold-out.
