Katy Perry Tells Fans To Stop Eating Her Album Cover

Katy Perry has told her fans to stop eating the cover to her new album.

'Teenage Dream' features a picture of the singer lying on a fake cotton candy cloud. The cover is also scented like the confectionary.

But Perry has now claimed some fans have gone to far and tried to eat the artwork.

"It smells good, but you can't eat the album,” she told MTV News. “I've had people eating the album, and I can't take responsibility for that."

Meanwhile, Perry has revealed that she also plans to challenge fans' senses when she takes the album on the road in 2011.

"I hope that it's going to engage all of your senses: sight, sound, smell, taste, touch," she said.
