Green Day Confirmed For Rolling Stones TV Tribute

Green Day will cover a Rolling Stones track in a TV tribute to their classic album 'Exile On Main Street'.

Billie Joe Armstrong and co. will perform a song lifted from the 1972 classic on the Late Night With Jimmy Fallon show on May 10th.

Roots drummer Questlove broke the news of Green Day's performance on Twitter, writing: “Rolling Stones week announcement: artist number 4 announced: Green Day!!!!!”

Previous guests confirmed for the one-off special are Cheryl Crow, Keith Urban and Phish.
